Dallas Neil Ritter, age 70, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Cox Medical Center South. Dallas Neil Ritter, age 70, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Cox Medical Center South. He was born May 16, 1940, in Ava, Missouri, to Orville and Sarah (Seale) Ritter.
He retired from Dallas Lily Tulip Sweetheart Cup. Dallas loved dogs and spending time in the outdoors. He really enjoyed NASCAR, and was a big Mark Martin fan. He also spent time reading Louis Lamour novels, and listened to old country and bluegrass music. He was a big lover of fireworks and homemade ice cream.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his loving wife LaVonne A. Ritter; one son, Eric Ritter, and wife Michelle, of Springfield, Missouri, two daughters, Patricia Duft and Husband Stephen, of Clinton, Missouri, and Yvette Lane, and husband, Jeff, of Springfield, Missouri; four grandchildren; one sister; and two brothers; and a host of friends and family.
