Daniel Patrick Green, age 69, of Syracuse, New York passed away on June 9, 2020 in Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.
Daniel was born on August 25, 1950 in Buffalo, New York to parents George L. and Mildred May (Mills) Green. Daniel loved watching horse races and he enjoyed bowling. He was an owner-operator for his trucking business, where he later retired.
Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mildred and his brother. He is survived by his loving wife Riza Green, daughter Teresa Green, two sons Matthew Green and Daniel Green Jr., two stepsons, three grandchildren: Jenna, Savannah and Bella, his brother Kenny Green, sister Venus Burke along with 6 other sisters, sister in law Joan Green, first niece Joanne Green and nieces Angel and Chastity with numerous other nieces and nephews, other relatives: John and Dawn Kelly, Diane Mills Campolo, best friend Roosevelt Reese and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial visitation for Daniel will be held on June 16, 2020 from 10:00 ~ 12:00 p.m. in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. Celebration of life will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
