Words cannot express this time of grief. Daniel Davis passed away on October 15, 2023, from a diabetic seizure due to low blood sugar. Daniel was born on June 5th, 1995 to Rob and Trudy Davis and was brother to Sarah Davis, Rachel Peterson, Anna Saunders, and Joshua Davis. He was brother-in law to Luke Peterson, Wesley Saunders, and Faith Davis, and beloved uncle to his niece and nephew, Trin and Evrett Peterson. His surviving relatives are grandparents Bob and Donna Davis, aunt Kristine Hansen, uncle Eric Hansen, aunt Cathy Cooper and her husband Mark, and cousins Eric and Drew Scholl, Mackenzie McClellan and Mallory Libolt.
Daniel lived in Springfield Missouri for the past 10 years. He was known and loved for his unwavering heart devoted to serving, caring, and giving to others. Although he only lived to be 28, during those years he touched more lives than most can do in a lifetime, having an immense capacity for being a friend to any and all in need. While he worked at Amada Home Care where he went above and beyond his daily responsibilities to devote time to each of his clients. Even when he wasn’t at work, he didn’t stop giving of his time, resources, and energy daily.
Daniel will be remembered for his deeply compassionate heart. For his selflessness and quick forgiveness. For his devotion to his family and friends. For his 24-7 heart for giving. For his creative spirit, expressed through photography, interior decor, and custom built lamps. For his contagious smile, rolling laughter, Christ-like example, and so much more. Although the pain of his absence in our lives is overwhelming, we are comforted in knowing he is with His Lord and Savior, full of eternal joy and peace.
