Darla Jean McNatt was born November 1, 1958, in Exter, CA, to Margaret Sue
Bolen. She died Sunday, December 22, 2013, in her home. She married and devoted her life to her
husband Dennis McNatt on February 26, 1980.
Darla moved to Missouri at the young age of 15 and was saved shortly
thereafter. She didn’t tell about her
Salvation until later in life. She then
joined and was baptized at Lindley Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She was a very
devoted person to her family, church family, and God.
Darla was a proud
worker for many years of the local Consumers Grocery Store and union steward
until the store closed. Then she was a
business owner of California Born Tans.
She enjoyed spending time
with her family and camping canoeing.
She loved to be outdoors gardening, or anything that involed the outdoors.
She also had a very big love for animals. Her children and grandchildren was a very
imortant part of her life. She devoted
her life to her family.
Darla was a loved wife,
mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was a
very important pillar in her family’s life.
She was loved by many of the community and will be missed by all, but we
know she is in a far better place and no longer in pain, she will always be in
our hearts.
She was preceded in
death by her father Fred Bolen; a sister Kelly
Bolen; a brother in-law David McNatt; and her father in-law David Leo McNatt.
She is survived by her husband Dennis McNatt of the home; her mother
Margaret Sue Bolen of Fair Play, MO; four children: Donnie McNatt and wife Amy
of Long Lane, MO, Melissa Doke and
husband Austin of Polk, MO, Amber Brown and Aron Brown of the home; two
sisters: Trish Orona of Andover, Minnesota, Lisa Hegazy of Bakersfield, CA;
four grandchildren: Preston and Lily Doke, Chase McNatt, and Brandon Griffin; mother
in-law Juanita Wilson of Polk, MO; sisters in-law: Cathy McNatt, and Debbie
Wallen; lots of nieces, nephews and other beloved family members.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am
Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Pitts Chapel with Bro.’s Jeff Shelenhamer and
Jeff Defreece officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar,
MO.
