Darrin Ray Moyers Sr., age 58, of Springfield, passed away Friday, October 30th, 2020 at Sonshine Manor. Darrin was born August 21, 1962 in Farmington, Mo to Alton “Shorty” and Barbara Moyers. Darrin Ray Moyers Sr., age 58, of Springfield, passed away Friday, October 30th, 2020 at Sonshine Manor.
Darrin was born August 21, 1962 in Farmington, Mo to Alton “Shorty” and Barbara Moyers. He was a graduate of Republic High School and attended Drury University. Darrin enjoyed racing his stock car at Fair Grove.
Survivors include his two sons, Darrin Ray Moyers Jr. and David Alton Moyers; his mother Barbara Houseman and husband James D. ; five grandchildren, Bailey, Maleah, Copper, Shayna, and Shawn; a sister, Denise McFarland and husband Mark; his beloved dogs, Sassy and Buddy; and a host of family and friends.
A celebration of Darrin’s life will be held Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 at 2:00pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home South, with private burial at Rosehill Cemetery in Willard, MO at a later date.
