David Allen Hazen, II., was born December 2, 1966, and went to be with the Lord on November 2, 2010.
David is survived by his three children, PFC Kristen Hazen, U.S. Army Reserve, Afghanistan, Stefany Hazen, College of the Ozarks, Point Lookout, and Alex Hazen, Springfield; and their mother, Heather Hazen-Bryant, Springfield. He is also survived by his grandmother, Theda Hazen, Springfield; mother, Jane Hazen, Springfield; sister, Amanda James and her husband Rex James, Pleasant Hope; nieces, Tiffany James, Springfield, and Brandy Earls and husband Steve Earls, and great-niece, Allie Earls, Springfield; fiancée, Michelle Sherman and her two children, Kenedi and Andrew, St. Peters, Missouri.
David attended Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Springfield. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served his country proudly.
A memorial service will be held in Glad Tidings Assembly of God at 1 p.m., November 6, 2010, with Pastor James McIntosh officiating.
