David Benjamin Schultz, age 103, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on February 27, 2024, at Maranatha Village. David was born to Benjamin and Edith Schultz on December 11, 1920, in Ontario, CA. He was a 1941 graduate Of Chafffey High School, Ontario, CA. David proudly served in the United States Navy as a CB during World War II.
David spent most of his career working in the manufacturing industry as a sheet metal worker. When not working, David enjoyed working with his hands, gardening and fixing anything.
David was preceded in death by his spouse, Dorothy Schultz; father, Benjamin Schultz; mother, Edith Schultz; 3 sons, Ricky Schultz, Mikey Schultz and, David Schultz; 1 brother, Elvis; and 1 sister, Evelyn Schultz. He is survived by one daughter, Susan McCoy; two sons, Douglas Schultz and wife Linda, and Stephen Schultz and wife Barbara; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
David will be interred next to his wife Dorothy at Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Glendora, CA, with a visitation from 1-2 pm, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Oakdale Mortuary, with a celebration of David’s life at 2 pm . A celebration of David’s life will be held at Maranatha Chapel, at a later date. Funeral services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
