David Keith Bonham, 65, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on August 19, 2026, after a brief illness.

He was born on September 20, 1960, in Springfield to Dillard and Patricia Bonham.

David married his high school sweetheart Pam Sanford on July 10, 1977. They had two children, Kevin and Angela.

David worked for his grandpa as a finish carpenter along with carpentry work for several local businesses. He also loved landscaping and had his own business for several years.

David had a passion for restoring old cars during his spare time. He loved going to the stock car races at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds, then at Springfield Raceway and Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland.

He loved sharing this passion with his best friend David Felton until his passing in 2020.

David was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Springfield, Missouri, since his childhood.

David is survived by his son, Kevin Bonham and his daughter Angela Dickerson and her husband Kenny.

He is also survived by his former wife and good friend, Pam Sanford Warnecke, his sister Lori Fox, grandchildren Alexandrea, Kenny, Jade Dickerson, Austin and Jordan Bonham, great grandchildren Aubry, Jamie, Sadie, Ezra and Tucker, his nephew Sisco and nieces, Lina and Stevie Fox.

He was preceded in death by his parents Dillard and Patricia Bonham, his brother in law Steve Fox and his beloved dog, Bear.
