David Lave’ Jr., 70, Springfield, MO. passed away June 7, 2021. He was born April 12, 1951, in Billings, Montana, to David and Rosalie (Montoya) Lave’. He attended school at Senior High School, Billings, Montana. He was a United States Army veteran, from 1967 to 1969. He had a long work life from 1965 to 2021. He had worked for Cenex Refinery and was chief contractor, for Fleetwood Homes. David loved spending time with his family, and he loved riding motorcycles with his friends and coaching baseball. He also loved watching the Patriots play football, on Sunday with his family and friends.
David was preceded in death by his parents, his sister; Veronica Lave’, his father and mother-in-law, and his grandson, Triston Wagner He is survived by his wife Gail (Grimm) Lave’, they were married on December 17, 1971, at the First Congregational Church. He is also survived by his children: Venus (Travis), David & Katrina, and Abraham, nine grandchildren: Trista (Anthony) Cyrisiti (Zachary), Skyler-Jean Luc-Skout-Jette-Maddox-Zavier-Hudson, and three great-grandchildren: Vann- Tillie, and Indie, three sisters: Bobbie Henne (Lester), Sharon Lave’ (Louis) and Jenny. The family would like to thank all the nurses and aides at Cox Hospital (South) 2nd floor for their kindness and care.
Graveside services with Military Rites will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2021 at The Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
