Monty Kozlowitz left a message on June 15, 2021:
A candle for a great husband, father, grandfather, friend, coach and overall person. St. Michael has taken this child of the Lord with him to the gates of heaven. Now “Coach Lave’ can play catch and hit ground balls with our Heavenly Father. Without his coaching and help in life at a time of much need, I would have never made it in athletics and most importantly life. He developed me into a high school baseball Hall of Fame member, college All-Region and All-American, and most of all, a husband and father. Coach Lave’ was and always will be a part of my life. Being 12 years old and winning the city championship is in my top 5 moments of my life still. The whole Lave’ family is in my prayers and meditations.
