David Lee DeRossett, age 65 of Morrisville, MO, passed away Monday, January 25, 2021, at Cox Medical Center South Springfield, MO. He was born April 25, 1955, in Springfield, MO, to William Leon and Betty M. (Hicks) DeRossett.
David had a love of music and played the guitar. He enjoyed gardening, and loved his dogs.
He is preceded in death by his father; a brother in-law Samuel Bears; his step-father Jim Hall; and a step sister Beverly Mathews.
David is survived by his mother Betty Hall of Morrisville, MO; his sister Sarah Bears of Ft. Worth, TX; his brother Len DeRossett and his wife Dian of Willard, MO; two step-brothers: Hollis Hall and wife Suzan of Springfield, MO, and Danny Hall and wife Trish of Bolivar, MO; as well as many nieces, nephews, one great nephew; other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm Friday, January 29, 20201, at Pitts Chapel. Graveside services will follow at Slagle Cemetery Bolivar, MO, with Pastor Ronnie Fieker officiating.
