David Ray Grisham, 57, was born in Springfield Mo to Lonnie Grisham and Ruth (Mayabb) Grisham on June 11, 1964. And grew up on a farm with his aunt and uncle Cecil and Marie Burk in Pleasant Hope where he went to school.
On January 4, 2015, he married Janice Jackson at Glidewell Baptist Church where they are attended. David and Janice had been friends sense they were 3 and 4 years of age. David often bragged to his family and friends that he finally married the girl next door. They reconnect it in 2013 while David was in California. David could often be found at muscle car Show on the weekend or riding his Harley. He had
a love of collecting hot wheels, as well as Harley Davidson memorabilia, and a love for eagles and hawks.
David is preceded in death by his Father Lonnie Grisham, Mother, Ruth Crawford, Stepfather Lonnie Crawford, Uncle Cecil (Aunt Marie) Burk, Brother Danny Grisham, Sister Pam Grisham, Grandmother Mary Frances Mayabb, Grandfather Ova Mayabb, Stepdaughter Lachele Wilson, Nephew LJ Grisham.
Survivors include: Wife Janice Grisham and Grand-daughter Morgan Long of Pleasant Hope Mo., daughter Amber Grisham and (EJ Warner) and their children (Kristen and James) of , Republic Mo., Step-daughter Amanda and (husband Luke) Wade and their children (Hayley, Ryan, Tyler Alyssa and Logan) of North Dakota and Emily and (Michael) Matthews and their children (Sophia and Maverick) of Web City Mo., Step-son Darrell Long Jr and his children (Dustin, Emma, Braxton and Rhett) of Carthage Missouri sister Sheila Grisham of Brookline, MO. Brother Larry Grisham of Highlandville Mo and Leonna Crawford of Marshfield, Mo. Several Aunts and Uncles and Cousins along with friends from both California and Missouri.
