Betty Jean Steinshouer left a message on July 23, 2020:
David Tucker, with those big brown eyes and dark hair, was the cutest boy in class, and Karen was the cutest girl. As many have said, he was a very kind soul, always gentle and considerate. I loved his parents, Betty and Pete, and his sister Lynette was one of my dearest friends in high school. Karen and I played basketball and softball together at PHHS, and when I would come back to Missouri, I would try to find her at the bank. I feel as if a member of my own family has died, since we were related by marriage. Love and hugs, to Karen and Lynette and Peggy. My heart is with you.

Karen, Travis, Matthew, Beaver, Lynette and families, there are no words to ease your hearts and souls. You were so blessed to have had David in your lives. I don’t remember a time when I did not know David, or the Tucker family. So many wonderful memories of playing flashlight tag, Hide and go seek, and kick ball. When he and Karen were married they were our neighbors, and good ones at that. David also coached my son in crickets baseball. May God shine his light in each of you, and may he held you closely giving you comfort and strength as you grieve the loss of David and enter the dark days in front of you. Lean on your faith, as we lift you up in prayers and love.
