David Ray Tucker 65, Pleasant Hope, MO. passed away Monday, July 20, 2020. He was born September 10, 1954, in Greene County, Mo. to L.R. “Pete” and Betty Jo (Boatman) Tucker. He recently retired from the Loren Cook Company. David was saved in 1980 an he attended the Sac River Cowboy Church. David was a member of the Teamsters Local Union #245 and the United Steel Workers Union #15485. He loved the outdoors, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time on his farm with his family.
David was preceded in death by his parents, and by his brother, John Tucker. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 46 years, Karen (Jones) Tucker, three sons: Travis Tucker and his wife, Brenda, Matthew Tucker and his wife Ashley, and Steven Tucker and his wife, Katie, seven grandchildren: Kylie, Trevor, Alivia, Maylee, Greta, William, and Laura. He is also survived by his sister, Lynette Hillenburg and his mother-in-law: Peggy Jones as well as family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2020, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow, in Pleasant Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
