Debbie Anton, age 62, of Ozark, Missouri, passed away on February 26, 2024. She was born to William and Ann Murray on December 9, 1961, in Lawton, Oklahoma, and graduated from Northeast Oklahoma State University in 1983. She married her true love, James Edward Anton, on September 27, 1992, in Springfield and loved her job as a stay-at-home Mom and Gigi! She was honored to be The Best Grandma (Gigi) to Olivia Lane and Poppy James.
She was very involved in the James River Church prayer team, Sister’s in Christ, LIFT Women’s Ministry, and Sisterhood Outreach.
She was preceded in death by William Kent Murray, Amanda Murry, Jessica Murray, and Kelly Murray. She is survived by her husband, James Edward Anton; mother, Ann; children, Briana Huff (husband Colter) and Chris Anton; 2 grandchildren, Olivia Lane Huff and Poppy James Huff; brothers, Tom Murray (wife Tammy) and Steve Murray (wife Christine); nieces and nephews, Justin Murray, Emily Murray, Stephanie Murray, Megan Murray, and Carrie Barton; and 2nd mother to Jim and Debbie, Delores Barton.
There will be a visitation honoring Debbie’s life at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, Thursday, February 29, 5:00-7:00 PM. She will be laid to rest at Missouri Veterans Service.
