Debbie met her Savior on January 23, 2012 in Tulsa, OK. She was a lady that enjoyed life, family, and friends.
Debbie was born on April 12, 1952 at Dallas Florence Nightengale Hospital in Dallas, TX and lived in Lewisville, TX until August, 1958. Her family moved to Springfield, MO where she started 1st grade at Robberson Elementary. In 1961, her family moved to Stillwater, OK, and then to Neodesha, KS, before moving to Winfield, KS in 1967 where her father, K. B. Murray, pastored. She graduated high school at Winfield High School in 1970, and graduated from Baptist Bible College, Springfield, MO, in 1973.
Debbie married Mark Williams on August 4, 1973. They ministered in Irving, TX, Ponca City, OK and Concordia, KS. In 1982 they were approved as missionaries with the Baptist Bible Fellowship International, Springfield, MO, and have ministered in Mexico City for the past 30 years.
Debbie loved serving the Lord. She had a servant’s heart and was very passionate about what she did. She loved and supported her husband and raised three children to love God. Her testimony has touched many lives. She enjoyed investing her life into her children, grandchildren, and children at the feeding center in Mexico City. She also enjoyed painting.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Louise, and brother, Larry Boyd. She is survived by her husband, Mark Williams; three children: Bradley Steven Williams, Kemberly Dawn Williams Murillo, and Jonathan Mark Williams; her father, K. B. Murray; her sisters, Christy Smith and Mischelle Foster; and her brothers, Darell Murray and Joel Murray; and twelve grandchildren, Jael, Jessica, Jason, Jaylin, Cole, Isabelle, Brendan, Emma, Olivia, Jackson, Reece, and Sofia.
Services will be at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, January 26th at Graceway Baptist Church, Springfield, MO under the care of Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
