It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra (Debbie) Ann Johnson, who left us on October 10, 2026, at the age of 71. Born on July 23, 1955, in Monett, MO,, but Springfield was her home where she dedicated herself to her work at Mercy Hospital bringing care and compassion to those she served for over forty years. Debbie’s favorite pastimes included; crafts, needlework, painting and creating keepsakes that are cherished by family and friends year-round. Debbie also excelled at playing trivia games, and a was gracious winner. She loved music especially that from the 70’s. Debbie had a green thumb and loved her plants.

Debbie is survived by her loving mother, Barbara Lovell; her siblings Katherine (Kathy) Daine; Clarence(Chuck) Lovell his significant other Lisa, and Sharon Telscher and her  husband Stephen, her cherished niece Angela Huggins along with1 niece and 2 nephews, 9 great nieces and nephews,15 great-great nieces and nephews.Each of them will carry her memory in their hearts and honor her legacy of kindness and warmth.

Everyone who knew and loved Debbie are invited to join in remembering the wonderful person Debbie was and to support one another at a graveside service, date and time to be announced soon. Debbie will be dearly missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace, dear sister, daughter, and friend. Your impact on our lives will endure forever.

Debbie was preceded in death by: Charles Lovell (father), Jeffrey Lovell (infant brother), and Sarah Daine (niece).
