Mrs. Della Ruth (Weeks) Fisher, age 50 of Bolivar, MO, passed away Saturday, February 6, 2010, in Citizens Memorial Healthcare Facility Bolivar, MO. She was born July 15, 1959, in Independence, MO, to Ralph L. and Katherine (Ebarhard) Weeks. She was united in marriage to Gerald Fisher May 16, 1981. She is a member of Bolivar United Methodist Church.
Her parents; a sister Hope Faith Blankenship; and one aunt and three uncles precede her in death.
She is survived by her husband Gerald of the home; two sisters: April Weeks of Halfway, MO, and Karla White of Kansas City, MO; a brother Ralph C. Weeks and his wife Denise of Bolivar, MO; one niece, six nephews, and 12 great nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 12, 2010, in the Bolivar United Methodist Church with Rev. Dan Adkison officiating. A family gathering will be held from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the church prior to the service. In lieu of plants and flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Huntington’s disease Research, or the CMH Hospice.
