Dennis Anderson, age 64, of Springfield passed away Thursday, December 13th, 2018 at Springfield Rehab .
Dennis was born October 12, 1954 in Humansville, MO to Harold and Dorothy Anderson. He was a graduate of Central High School. Dennis worked for Frisco Railroad for several years before going to work for the Greene County Highway Department, where he retired from after over 20 years of service.Dennis enjoyed helping others working on various projects. He enjoyed speding time with the grandkids.
Survivors include one brother, Jimmie Anderson and wife Janiece; girlfriend, Lori Massey, Springfield; Step-son, Larry Massey and wife Misty, Republic; two grandchildren, Alex and Trace; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Dorothy Anderson; and one sister, Alice Spackman.
The family will receive friends from 3-5 pm, Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Greenlawn Funeral Home South. A celebration of Dennis's life will be held Monday, December 17th, 2018 at 3:00 pm in Greenlawn Funeral Home South 441 West Battlefield Springfield, Missouri 65807, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Springfield, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Haven Hospice in care of the funeral home.
