Dewey Lee Jarrett passed away at his home on May 3, 2013. He was born on January 31, 1939 in Manes, MO. He was a master plumber for 50 years. He belonged to Local Union 178 and was active as a Gate of the Temple Lodge of Springfield as a Shriner. He was an avid nascar fan. Loved gardening, deer hunting and fishing with friends. He is survived by his daughter Sherry Little and husband Robert Little of Clever, MO, brother Corbit and Barbara Jarrett of Orville, CA, brother Oris of Marysville, CA, brother Jason of Molene, Ill., sister Cleta Bowling of Crane, MO and sister Freda and husband Johnny Pressler of Marysville, California, and numerous nieces and nephews, and extra special friends for over 45 years, Jess and Chuck and his nascar buddie Doug Lane. He is preceded in death by his parents Joe Mac and Viola Pearl Jarrett, a son Terry (To-Jo) Jarrett and brothers Turrell and Hadley. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at 10:00am in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with burial following in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Tuesday May 7, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in the funeral home.
