Diana Faye Bielicke, 73, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully in her home on September 23, 2026.
Diana was born on December 4, 1952, in Springfield to Delores and Lloyd Sloan. She grew up with a creative eye and an immense heart, qualities that defined her role as a mother, sister, auntie, grammy, and most recently, a precious GG. Diana had a remarkable talent for decorating and took great pride in creating a warm, beautiful home. Her legendary, meticulously themed Christmas trees were a reflection of the beauty she brought into the world.
Her everyday moments brought her the greatest joy. Diana could always be found with a glass of her signature sweet tea close by, and she enjoyed a quiet cup of coffee on her back porch each morning. Her family was the centerpiece of her life, and she expressed her love through unique, lively traditions. She brought laughter to family game nights, where she loved playing cards with everyone at the dining table. At Christmas family gatherings, she delighted in hiding holiday money inside clever puzzles the kids had to solve. She also loved to spoil Riley with new shoes; to make her signature sausage, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwiches for Brodee; and she loved having facetime calls with Max. Her beloved dog, Kloe, was her constant shadow and cherished companion and was thoroughly pampered with regular doggy spa days.
Diana is survived by her loving family, including her son Ryan Young and his wife Angela of Springfield; son Kevin Strong of Springfield; niece Nicki Turnbaugh of Nixa; grandson Riley Young and his wife Joy of Springfield; grandson Max Parrish of Chesterfield, Michigan; great-grandson Rocky Young; sister Loedda Holliday and her husband Steve of Clever; great-nephew Brodee Turnbaugh and his wife Taylor of Nixa; and her aunt, Joan Brinkman of Kansas City; and her beloved cousins, extended family members, and friends.
She was reunited in peace with her husband, Frank Bielicke; her mother, Delores Stahl; her son, John Parrish; and her grandparents, Lorena and Dee Hammer.
A visitation to celebrate Diana’s life will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
