Dillard Bonham, born July 21, 1932, in Nauvoo, Missouri. He passed away September 27, 2022, in his Springfield home.
Dillard attended school at Blue Eye, Missouri. He served in the Army from 1953 to 1955. Dillard delivered milk for the family business and then began working at MFA Feed & Seed in Springfield until he retired in 1997. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church his entire adult life.
Dillard married Patricia Ann Hanson in 1956. They had two children David and Lori. Dillard and Patti celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2006 with a renewal of vows. They just recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Bessie Bonham, siblings Willard, Charles, Nadine, Bobby, Billy, Donald, Gerald, and son-in-law, Steve Fox.
Survived by: wife, Patti, Springfield; his loving dog, Max; son, David Bonham of Springfield, daughter-in-law, Pam Warnecke, Springfield, granddaughter, Angela Dickerson, her husband Kenny, and their children, Alexandrea, Kenny, and Jade, Kimberling City; grandson, Kevin Bonham and his children, Austin and Jordan, Springfield; daughter Lori Fox, and her four children, Adelina Corralejo, Sisco Fox, Stevie Fox, and Claudia Corralejo, Morrisville; five great-great grandchildren; sister, Barbara Banning; sister-in-law, Keithleen Bonham, Springfield, MO; and many more family members and friends.
Dillard was a quiet man that spoke few words but had an infinite presence that made an impact on all those that loved him. His children and wife will significantly miss their father and husband but more importantly their friend.
