Dollie Francis Smith passed awqy on May 14, 2010, at the age of 98, surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her husband John W.; daughter Myrtle Corbin; son-in-laws Clarence (Tank) Corbin and William (Bill) Lindsey; grandaughter Debbie Sneddon; her parents; four sisters; and three brothers. She is survived by her daughters Lula Sneddon and husband Don, Wanda Lindsey, Donna Norris and husband Doug,; son John E. Smith and wife Ann; 11 grandchildren; nineteen great-grand-children; one step great-grandchild; 13 great-great grandchildren; four step-great-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Monday, May 17, 2010 at 10 a.m. in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, with Reverend Alvin Hook of First Free Will Baptist Church and Reverend Keith Garrison of Eastern Gate Free Will Baptist Church officiating. Music will be provided by Phillip Collier. No visistation is planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn North Funeral Home.
