Don and Carol Light
“A Love Story”
In 50 years of marriage, Don and Carol, were only apart for one night. They left this life, like their marriage, with only one night separating them.
Donald E. Light, born March 23, 1929, passed away on August 2, 2012. Carol June Moody Light, born June 6, 1929, passed away on August 3, 2012.
They both wore many hats during their lives. Don managed several semi tractor machine shops. Carol worked as a executive secretary for United Airlines. They also owned their own business “72 Mile Truck Service”. From being World wide travelers, to raising Missouri Foxtrotting horses. They felt they had done and seen everything, they ever wanted. They loved living in Seymour and were very active in community activities.
Don was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. Carol was preceded in death by a daughter, Vicki Lou Forza of Springfield, MO.
They are survived by two sister; Edna McKinney and Edith Holmes of Illinois, two brothers; Bill (Marlene) Moody of Seymour, MO, and Junior (Judy) Moody of Texas, two sons; Rob (Terry) Farson of Edmond, OK and Richard (Nancy) Light of Illinois, two daughters; Donna (Leon) Gayle of Perkins, IL, and Debi (J.W.) Worthen of Norwood, MO, one son-in-law Larry Forza of Springfield, MO, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, one great great grandson and several nieces and nephews.
They were greatly loved and are sorely missed.
