Donald Branson Howard, age 75, of Springfield MO went to be with his Lord surrounded by his loving family and friends on June 22, 2014. He was a graduate of Baptist Bible College serving as Music and Youth Minister for 50 years. He was an integral part of Christian Schools of Springfield and on staff with Dr. W.E Dowell at Baptist Temple. For the past 5 years, he has been the pastor of Bible Baptist Church in Republic MO with emphasis on foreign missions. His favorite verse was Romans 12:1-2.
He was born Dec 29, 1938 in Elkhart IN to Blaine and Bernice Howard. Two sisters, Paula and Jeseca preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving wife Jorene of fifty five years and two adoring sons, Kevin and wife Wendy (Springfield MO), Eric and wife Stacy (Ozark MO), his older brother Ronald and wife Zelma (Hattiesburg MS) and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his beautiful granddaughter, Kylie, who was the joy of his life.

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 26 from 6-8 pm with funeral services June 27 at 11 am at Greenlawn Funeral Home East, Springfield MO. Graveside services to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be be made to the family and sent to Bible Baptist Church 227 E Brooks St, Republic MO 65738.
