Donnie embarked on a rewarding career as a journeyman lineman. He spent many years with IBEW and Springfield City Utilities, where he was known for his tireless commitment to his trade and the respect he garnered from his colleagues. His work was not just a job; it was a part of him, a testament to his character.
Above all, Donald cherished his role as “Dad” to his kids and “Papa” to his grandkids. He is survived by his son, Jeremy McDaniel (Cyndi), Abigail McDaniel and April Smith (Jason).
