Donald L. Coble Sr, went home to his Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 23, 2022, at the age of 81. He was born in Springfield, Missouri, on January 3, 1941, to Hazel Marie and Ross Franklin Coble. Don was the second oldest of 8 children. He was a member of Jefferson Avenue Baptist church for over 20 years. Don was retired from Colonial Bakery Company after several decades of service. He had a green thumb and loved to garden. Don and his wife Bonnie enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball. They were both eager mall walkers and rarely missed a chance to put on their walking shoes. Don loved watching old westerns, The Andy Griffith Show, and Everybody Loves Raymond. He was an avid whistler that was sure to be heard everywhere he went.

Don is survived by three children: Russell Coble (Rhonda), Tom Coble (Amanda), and Steve Coble, step-children: Debra Edwards (David), Kirk Rothermel (Monet), Kim Swain, and Carol Rothermel. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one sister, Mary Ann Mullins, and four brothers, Lewis Coble, Larry Coble, Gary Coble, and Eddie Coble. Don is proceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Coble, parents, Hazel and Ross Coble, first born son Donald L Coble Jr., brothers Ross Coble Jr., Robert Coble, step-son David Rothermel, step-son-in-laws: Max Swain and Jim Edwards, granddaughter Brooke Nicole Hyman and grandson Elijah Cole Swain.

Funeral Services will be at 3:00pm Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, July 26, 2022, from 6:00pm- to 8:00pm in the funeral home.
