We was his neighbors beside on the garage side ….we enjoyed seeing him spending time with his beautiful dog.. Such a blessing to see so many come to his home to send him off to meet his beautiful wife and loved ones …

Don meant the world to me, he made such an impact on my early nursing career and I will always cherish the memories I shared with him and his amazing family. I am so sorry for your loss. Don will surely be missed by so many people.

Pam, Russ & Melissa & Families, I am very sorry about the passing of your Father, Don. I knew of him and your Mother, Sunny, through your Grandparents, Vernon and Gladys. I lived and worked in Springfield as an RN at Mercy for many years in Orthopedics. I lived in the apartments on South Ingram Mill Road and would walk the neighborhood where Vernon and Gladys lived. We became friends and enjoyed the visits we had over the years before I married and moved back to my hometown of West Plains, MO. Your parents were very nice people and took very good care of your Dad's parents before they both passed. Don looks like your Grandpa Vernon. So very sorry for Don's passing. I will be keeping all of you in my daily prayers and thoughts. May God provide each of you peace, comfort, strength, and encouragement daily. May God bless all of you. In Christian Love, Mrs. Amber(Cozort)Redburn

Don was such a great guy! I enjoyed my visits with him in my role as Pastor of Congregational Care at Schweitzer Church. I know how much he missed his dear Sunny, and how proud he was of his wonderful family. Prayers for all of you. - Sheila Pippin
