We have loved you, Doris Lee, ever since that day in 1959 when we met in Corpus Christi during flight training and continuing until this day as an important anchor of "the Bermuda group." Our hearts go out to Gary and the entire family and pray that they will be comforted by their memories of wife, mother, grandmother--and friend, as will Barbara and I. May God bless Doris and find the same treasure in her presence in Heaven as we did on Earth.

Susan Riddle Johnson left a message on January 20, 2021:
Doris and the Baumberger family are at the center of an abundance of happy memories of growing up in Republic. I spent countless hours in Doris' kitchen and always left feeling loved and inspired. She never gave up on trying to teach me to dance for RHS musicals, and always listened with patience and enthusiasm as we rehearsed for speech tournaments, music festivals or stage productions. The farm was my second home, and I am so grateful to have known the glamorous, vivacious, generous Doris. My prayers are with her wonderful family. I hope that you find comfort with each other as you remember and celebrate her extraordinary life.
