Doris Burch passed away peacefully at Woodland Manor Care Facility February 16, 2017 at the age of 94. She was born November 19, 1922 to Edith and Albert Shelton along with 6 brothers and sisters, and all were very close. She was married to Carlyle Burch for 61 years until his passing in 1999. From this union was born Ronnie, Deanna, and Greg. She was preceded in death by her youngest, Greg, to pancreatic cancer in 2008. She loved cooking and entertaining family on holidays as well as traveling with Carl and her brother and sister-in-law all over the USA. They got to see all of the state capitals. Surviving are Ron Burch, Deanna and Jerry Bennett, daughter-in-law, Marcia Burch, 5 grandkids, 7 great-grandkids, and 17 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 21, 2017, 6:00-8:00pm, at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral service will be Wednesday, February 22, 2017, 10:00am, also at Greenlawn North. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family suggests memorial donations to Water Mill Church of Christ.
