Doris P. Crooks, 71, of Springfield passed away January 5, 2013 in Springfield. Doris was born March 17, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Strongsville High School, in Ohio, in 1959.
Doris married William M. Crooks May 26, 1962, in Strongsville, Ohio. She worked as a Data Entry Clerk for Ozarks Coca-Cola Dr. Pepper Bottling Co., for 29 years. She retired in 2005. She volunteered at Cornelia de Lange Syndrome Foundation, Eastern Star. She loved traveling and spending time with her family.
Doris was preceded in death by her Father LeRoy Roche, 1970; her Mother Elsie Roche, 1997; and her Step-Father, Charles Eimer, 1989.
She is survived by husband William M. Crooks; daughters LeAnn Crooks and Janet Crooks; grandchildren Sarah Gordon, Danny Conklin, Nicole Bass and Brandi Bass; great grandchildren Montana Conklin and Mason Conklin; and many close relatives and friends.
Doris’s memorial service will be January 10, 2013, at 7:00 p.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home East, in Springfield. Visitation service will be January 10, 2013, at 6:00 pm in the funeral home.
