Doris Emily Tobler passed away peacefully on August 13, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on November 21, 1935, to William and Fanny Morgan, Doris lived a life full of warmth, love, and dedication to her family, friends, and faith.
Throughout her life, Doris touched the hearts of many with her kind spirit and gentle soul. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Gladys, her grandson Justin Peacock, her son Terrell Weede, and her daughter Tina Peacock. Despite these profound losses, she remained a pillar of strength and love for those who survived her.
Doris found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially when surrounded by family and friends. Whether it was a quiet night in watching movies, a day out shopping, or attending a show, she treasured these moments and the laughter they brought. Her grandchildren, Morgan Weede, Anna, Nick, and Akara Schneiderheinze, were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
For many years, Doris worked at The Carpet Shoppe, where her dedication and work ethic left a lasting impression on her colleagues. After retiring she continued to live life to the fullest, dedicating her time to her family and her community.
A devoted member of the Valley Water Mill Church of Christ, Doris found great comfort and joy in her faith and her church family. Her friendships within the church were a source of strength and companionship throughout her life.
In her final days, Doris received compassionate care from the staff at Spring Ridge and a hospice team, for which her family is deeply grateful. Their kindness and support provided comfort not only to Doris but also to her loved ones.
