Dorothy Louise Cranston, age 91, passed away, September 24, 2012 at Ozark Nursing and Care Center. She was born July 27, 1921 in Peace Valley, MO, to Zack and Una Barton. Dorothy Louise Cranston, age 91, passed away, September 24, 2012 at Ozark Nursing and Care Center. She was born July 27, 1921 in Peace Valley, MO, to Zack and Una Barton. She married Charles Cranston in 1962. She retired from the Federal Medical Center in 1983. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and attending Ridgecrest Baptist Church where she was a member.
She is survived by her: son, Stan Workman and wife Janet of Republic, MO., her grandchildren: Raylund Workman of Springfield, MO., and Angela Daugherty of Festus, MO., her great-grandchildren: Sabrina Crook, Krystal Workman, Morgan Daugherty, and Taylor Daugherty.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers: Don Barton and Orville Barton.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in Greenlawn Funeral Home South.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 27, 2012 in Greenlawn Funeral Home South with Pastor Hosea Bilyeu officiating.
