Dorothy M. “Mustain” Dodson, 92, of Bolivar, MO, passed away November 15, 2012, at Parkview Healthcare Facility. Dorothy was born to Hobart and Rosa “Phillips” Mustain on February 11, 1920, in Fair Play, MO. Dorothy was a member of Bismont Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; second husband Walker Phillips; third husband Ira Stevens; fourth husband Bill Dodson; a daughter Sharon Stiger; a sister Lula Jane Mustain; and a brother Gayles Mustain.
She is survived by two daughters: Wilma Chism Graham and husband Donovan of Colorado Springs, CO, and Rosa Lee Phillips Edgington and husband James of Dickinson, TX; 10 grandchildren: Michael Stiger, Scott Stiger, Patrick Graham, Michelle Lovelady, Jillaine Breniman, Seth Graham, Tanya Winkler, BJ Mothersbaugh, James “Cody” Edgington, and Jamie Byrd; 13 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren; a sister in-law: Catherine Mustain; a brother and sister in-law Larry and Katherine Dodson; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 17, 2012, at Pitts Chapel with Dr. Donovan Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Akard Cemetery Fair Play, MO. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service from 1:00 to 2:00 pm in the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
