Dorothy May Gott was born May 12th, 1937 in Fair Play, MO to William Lee and Ella May Brobisky.
She was raised in Bolivar, MO up until she met and married Walter Herschel Gott and then she resided in Springfield, MO. She passed away in her home the morning of March 8th, 2011 after a short illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2005.
She is survived by three sons, Kenny Gott and wife, Cissy of Raymore, MO., Eddie Gott and wife, Lisa of Springfield, MO, and Leroy Gott and wife, Nina of Springfield, MO. She is survived by one daughter, Charlene Gott-Bailey and husband, Rick of Springfield, MO. She is survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sister in-laws, brother in-laws, nephews, and nieces, along with many friends.
Visitation will be held in Greenlawn Funeral Home North from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2011. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens on Friday, March 11, 2011.
