Dorothy May Wilkinson 74, Springfield, MO. passed away in her home on Sunday, October 6, 2019. She was born in Fordland, MO. on February 19, 1945, to Clarence Andrew and Elsie Fay (Proctor) Thwing. She was retired from both Zenith Electronics Corporation after 27 years of service and Wal-Mart, after 21 years of service, at store # 86. She was the Matriarch of her family. She loved collecting Light Houses of every shape and size. She loved Elvis and Rock and Roll Music.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Goldie Morris and her step-son, Bruce Wilkinson. She is survived by two daughters: Candus Williams and her husband Jack, and Marilyn Inman, a step-daughter: Margaret Meltabarger and her husband Jim, three grandchildren: Brandon Inman and his partner, Jennifer Weber, Brittany Inman, and Christin Alford, nine great-grandchildren: Madison, Lindsey, Hailey, Allison, Kylee, Gracie, Gunner, Sabrina and Ethan.
A Memorial Visitation is planned for Monday, October 14, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Cremation is under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home North.
