Anabeth Graham left a message on July 29, 2025:
I am so sorry to hear of Rev. George’s death. He preached at my father’s funeral in Grant City Mo in 1973. My aunt was Margy Asher, the postmaster in Worth for 40 plus years. He was a dinner guest many times in her home. I always attended Bible School in Worth and Dona’s mother was always my teacher. Great memories from my time in the little town during my growing up years. Aunt Margy passed away in 1993 and her hubby passed away in 2016 I believe. The Baptist church still looks good. My aunts house burned down after both she and her hubby had passed and had sold their home. My parents are buried in the Grant CityCemetrry so I still go up to that area several times a year.
