I am so sorry for your loss. Paul was a great man and friend. I knew him thru the Happy Plunkers Ukulele Band. He joined in June, 2010. He was a great asset playing the baritone ukulele. At the age of 80 he wanted to learn the bass guitar. (Quite a task at that age.) He took lessons and began playing it in the band, performing all around SW Missouri. He was always happy, funny, and available if you needed him. He was very dedicated to this group. I know he touched a lot of lives in so many, many good ways. He will be greatly missed. All band members loved him a lot and will miss him.
Lou Zimmerman left a message on April 11, 2024:
God put you in my life, and I was blessed abundantly by your presence. I awoke from a dream about 3am Tuesday: you were smiling and cracking those corny jokes you loved. You stopped laughing long enough to whisper, "He's waited long enough...". Be at peace, Brother, it's your Homecoming.
