It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. Earline Moulder announces her passing. Dr. Moulder left this world on Wednesday, April 13 after a short illness. She was born to Earl and Ruby Moulder, Buffalo, MO. Her brother was the late William Moulder. Dr. Moulder leaves behind her husband David Plank: her children Jeannine, son-in-law, David Aderhold, Jon, daughter-in-law Mary Jo (née Cunningham), and Tim. Dr. Moulder enjoyed a long and illustrious career teaching organ and Piano at Drury University. Prior to grooming music majors for success, Dr. Moulder received degrees from Drury in music, French, and biology. She earned her Master’s degree from Indiana University. Her Doctorate from the University of Kansas. Dr. Moulder loved teaching. She was still teaching up until her health deterred her. Dr. Moulder enjoyed traveling and made friends wherever she went. She played on some of the great organs of the world, and in many lands. “The power of music, including organ music, will never fade.”
Private family services are under the care of Greenlawn Funeral Home East.
A memorial service for Earline will be at 2:00 pm Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at Drury Stone Chapel.
