With deepest sorrow we announce that Edgar Ellington (Eddie), age 70, residing at Ash Grove, MO., passed away peacefully in his sleep, on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from a long battle with respiratory illness while in the hospital.
Eddie served his country with honor as an Army soldier in Korea, the Vietnam war, and time in Germany. He was honorably discharged on June 11, 1973. Eddie was a kind soul, with a gentle heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He will be greatly missed.
Eddie is survived by 3 sisters, Linda, Star and Becky, 2 nieces, Karisa and Fiona, 5 nephews,
Steven, Jacob, Dustin, Michael and Kyle, Uncle, Gary, Aunt, Cherry and many cousins and
friends. He was predeceased by his wife Peggy, his father, Gene and his mother, Fran (Minnie).
Eddie's memory is a blessing to us all.
Memorial services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 15, 2020, at Crane Community Cemetery, Crane, MO. The family requests social distancing and masks be worn at the service
