Edith Lucille Lewis, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011 in Maranatha Village. She was 99 years, 11 months and 13 days of age. Edith Lucille Lewis, of Springfield, Mo., passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011 in Maranatha Village. She was 99 years, 11 months and 13 days of age. Mrs. Lewis was born January 25, 1911, in Harrisburg, Mo., to Harmon and Ida Meeks. She was a member of the Central Assembly of God.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Archie S. Lewis; two brothers and a sister. She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Pace, and Sandra Askew, of Springfield, and Linda Murray, of Platte City, Mo.; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters; and one brother.
Funeral services will be held in Maranatha Village Chapel, Monday, January 17, 2011 at 10 a.m. Visitation will be at 9 a.m., prior to service. Burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery, Columbia, Mo.
