Edward Lee Henson,age 88 of Springfield, MO died Monday. September 16, 2013 at the Missouri State Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon, mo.
Eddie was born July 10,1925 in Ocie, MO. the son of William and Hattie (Ayers) Henson. He was a u.s. Army Veteran and a retired long distance truck Driver.
He was Preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his daughter, Linda Butler of Springfield,MO.and his sister Kathleen of Springfield,Mo. and many friends.
Visitation will be Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 9:00 untill 10:00 a.m. at Greenlawn North Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, with full military honors.
