Elizabeth (Liz) Ann Patton, age 45, of Springfield, MO, passed away Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Mercy Hospital. She was born January 13, 1971, in Siloam Springs, AR, to Lawrence and Patsy (Trantham) Patton. Liz was a strong, independent woman and a loving and caring soul that rarely had a bad word to say about anyone. Over the last couple of years Liz had battled many health issues including caner and at the time of her death was in remission. Liz’s family was her world, she was always there to help them. She was very passionate about her animals, and she loved her makeup, candles, and James Bond.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Eugene and Patsy Patton. She is survived by two children, Dylan Fanning and Bailey Fanning, both of Springfield; long time companion, Darwin Reist, Springfield; one brother, David Patton, St. Louis, MO; one sister, Lynn Becker, Springfield; and a host of family and friends.
Memorial services for Liz will be at 5:00 pm, February 1, 2016 at Unity Spiritual Center, 3233 South Kauffman Road, Springfield, MO. Cremation services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
