E. Ila Chaffin passed away January 4, 2013, at Woodland Manor in Springfield, MO. She was born May 26, 1916, in Tupelo, MS.
She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Springfield for many years. She and her husband Charles enjoyed retirement in Shell Knob, MO; for 18 years.
Ila is survived by her daughter, Charlene Koch and her husband Paul of Springfield, MO; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2013, from 2:00-3:00 p.m., in Greenlawn Funeral Home North. Funeral services will start at 3:00 p.m., with burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
