Elmer “Bud” Clary, age 80, of Wheatland, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014, at Citizens Memorial Hospital Bolivar, MO. He was born February 18, 1934, in Stillwell, KS, to Elmer and Hazel (Anderson) Clary. He was united in marriage to Dorothy May Vest February 19,1972. He was a prolific wood-worker. He enjoyed deer hunting. Bud was a dedicated husband and an excellent care giver to Dorothy. Above all else he loved his family and partying with the grand kids.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 42 years Dorothy May Clary; one daughter Pamela Gaston; a granddaughter Michel Campbell; and seven brothers and three sisters.
He is survived by four children: Laura Farmer of Louisburg, MO, Kenneth Lee Clary of Wheatland, MO, Elmer “Buddy” Clary, Jr. of Gladstone, MO, and Tami Shirey of McLouth, KS; 12 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial services are on November 1, 2014, at New Vision Church of the Nazarene, 100 S. Sunrise Drive Raymore, Missouri, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM. Arrangements have been entrusted to Pitts Chapel Bolivar, MO.
