Dr. Elwood Henry Stade, age 76, passed away on May 8, 2013. He was born on September 10, 1936 in Des Plaines, Illinois to Agnes Busse Stade Boettcher and Henry Stade. Woody graduated from Northern Illinois University and Northwestern University Dental School. He was a Board Certified Prosthodontist and retired from from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine as Associate Professor and Chaired the Dept of Prosthodontics. He had a practice in East Alton, Illinois and was a member of the American Board of Prosthodontics and the American College of Prosthodontics and held office in a section of the American Association of Dental Schools. He was saved in 1971 and strong in his faith in Christ Jesus and enjoyed the grace of God in his life. He attended James River Assembly. He is preceded in death by his parents. Woody is survived by his wife, Charlene Bero Stade, his children; Carrie Renfrow (Daniel) of Jefferson City, Gregg Stade of Nixa and Timothy Stade of Nixa and grandchildren Maxwell and Mitchell Renfrow. He is also survived by his siblings Judith Hoemann (Richard) and Gloria Shook (Willard) and sisters-in-law, Barbara Hottle and Lee Bero. Visitation will be on Tuesday May 14, 2013, at 10:00 a.m., in James River Assembly, in Ozark, with a Memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the church. Cremation Arrangements have been entrusted in Greenlawn Funeral Home South. In lieu of flowers, the family ask donations be made to Parkinson’s Group of the Ozarks, P.O.
