Eric Jason Bowling, age 36, of Aurora, MO, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2010. He was born on July 5, 1974, in Springfield, MO, to Joseph and Carole (Stapleton) Bowling.
He is survived by Amanda (Whittington) Bowling of Springfield, MO, a daughter, Hannah Whittington, a son, Caleb Bowling, his parents: Joseph and Carole Bowling, two sisters: Katrena Bowling of Verona, MO, and Malissa Nowack of Springfield, MO. Two nephews also survive him: Derek and Ian Kelly.
Many of us were blessed to have had the opportunity to know and love Eric. He loved music and was always smiling that bright smile that none of us will ever forget. He had the most beautiful spirit and the greatest, most wonderful loving heart. He loved with all of his being. He loved his children and his family. He will forever remain a shining star in our lives and hearts. He died at peace and that is something we can all find comfort in.
A memorial service will be held at DWO Church, 526 E. Harrison, Republic, Missouri, on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 5:00 p.m. Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home North, Springfield, MO.
