Dear Sweet Shana and your family, you have all broken hearts that we share with you. We remember meeting Eric at the hospital and seeing right away that he was smitten with you!! You had such a happy life and we have been so happy with you and now we are heartbroken with you.
JAMES SAUNDERS left a message on February 29, 2024:
Cousin Eric was an interesting and admirable fellow. When we were children, I would see him at our grandparents' house as the extended family gathered for Thanksgiving. Even as a child, his happy disposition was apparent and something of a novelty among children of that age. Our encounters later became infrequent, but he never lost the sunny smile and friendly, open manner that was his trademark. I remember also his curiosity and desire to learn about topics as disparate as biology, history, and music. I share in the sadness of his passing and offer my sincere condolences.

Eric was truly one of the nicest friends I had at Parkview. We were in madrigal together and had lots of fun going to all the special places for our performances. Eric was standing by me talking when his sister Rebecca was announced homecoming queen for Parkview and he yelled out “That’s my sister!” He was so very excited for her! I will always treasure our friendship.
