Eva Kay Mays was born May 11, 1946, in Greene County, Missouri, and died December 21, 2012. Eva was the daughter of Marvin and Francis Mays and grew up in Ash Grove, Missouri, along with her sister Karen and brother, William. Although disabled for much of her life, Eva had an abiding love for her family, especially her children. Her sweet spirit will be missed by all who were lucky enough to have gotten to be called “friends”.
She is survived by her brother Bill, daughters, Theresa and Francis, son Troy, her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Paula and Annetta, and her sister, Karen Strait.
Friends may call at Greenlawn Funeral Home North from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 26, 2012.
A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m.,Thursday, December 27, 2012, in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
