Evelyn Lucille Brock (Hassen), 77, Bolivar, MO (formerly of Richland) passed to the Lord at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 3, 2010, in the home of her son, Kevin.
Lucille fought a short and valiant fight against cancer and died peacefully in her sleep.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and is survived by her children, Susan Dodds of Springfield and Kevin Brock of Clever; her grandchildren, Heidi Kidd and Justin and Jacob Brock; her great grandchildren, Isaiah and Jade Kidd; and three brothers, Russell, Gilbert, and Raymond Hassen, as well as many other family and friends.
Lucille loved to travel and spend time with her friends and family. She had a wonderful sense of humor and retained it to the end.
She will be cremated in accordance with her wishes and no service is planned.
Donations can be made in her honor to the Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks or the American Cancer Society.
Services have been entrusted to Greenlawn South Funeral Home.
