Farell Dennis Ballenger, age 83, of Springfield, MO. Passed away early Tuesday July, 26, 2011.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Bonnie Ballenger, four sons, Dennis (Gina), Larry (Threasa), Kyle and Brian, seven grandchildren, Julie, Kayla, April, Jana, Chase, Justin and Sarah, and one great-grandson, Colton. Farell was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Aretta, and brothers Larry and Leon “Bub”.
Farell served in the Korean war in the 50’s and retired from the IRS in 1985.
A graveside service will be on Friday July 29, 2011 at 11:00 am, at Park Cemetery in Columbus, KS, with a visitation on Thursday July 28, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home South, Springfield, MO.
In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice Compassus or to the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home of Bridgeton, MO.
