Faye Lorene Glover (8/30/1920– 2/9/2019) Our family’s heart beat started on August 30th, 1920 when Faye Lorene Glover was born to Effie (Glenn) Davis and Cook Davis in Dadeville, MO. Please accept my sincere heartfelt condolences for Faye. She was such a wonderful, loving, giving lady. I remember being at her house many many times in Bolivar and even in Georgia. I remember her being at our house many times and I still have the locket she & Dale gave me for graduation. I'm sure she and mom are catching up on all the latest cooking and sewing things. Our families were one and the same. My dad sure enjoyed building her dining room set. I'm sure it still is beautiful. Mom loved visiting with Faye and Dad loved visiting and fishing with Leo.

David, I was sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. She was always so kind to me as a boy growing up in Bolivar. When I would see her as a young adult she would always take the time to ask about my family and always was an encourager. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences for Faye Glover. When I was growing up, and would go home with David or spend the night, she was always that special Mom to us boys. She was always upbeat, positive, and made you feel glad to be there. She was a very kind and loving person. Years later when we returned to live in Bolivar, she would go out of her way to smile or share a kind word with Dawn and myself when we would see her at church. She was a very special person and will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Jim and Dawn Hall

My first job out of college was in the Accounting Dept. at Teters Floral Products in Bolivar. Faye saw that I was very green and unsure of myself and immediately took me under her wing, serving as a sort of mentor/honorary mother for me. She always made sure I knew I had a friend I could go to for guidance or just a friendly smile. Even though I only worked with Faye a couple of years, her warm welcome to the "new kid" has stayed with me always, and I treasure the memories I have of her.

Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss of Faye. May the peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus.” (Phil. 4:7) May the hope of a resurrection right here on a restored earth bring you comfort. (John 5:28, 29) Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life) Psalm 37:11, 29) But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. The righteous will possess the earth, And they will live forever on it. My deepest sympathy
